Rin Tuesday is a solo recording artist project I (sam) started in 2021 after moving to New York City. Rin’s musical influences are very much a byproduct of limitless internet access without adult supervision. She grew up on a combination of Japanese and Korean rock, metal, and hip-hop, as well as western Punk Rock and Emo movements of the early 2000s like Avril Lavigne, My Chemical Romance, & Green Day. Having such diverse influence led Rin to appreciate music that tells expressive and authentic stories, particularly within the Pop-Punk genre. In her own tracks, such as "Boys Worth Breaking" and "Kink Party," Rin seeks to channel her own feminine rage and encourage women to unapologetically express their emotions.
